Our Company (NCL) was established in 1995 by four local shareholders,
with the intention of establishing a medium sized family orientated and
locally operated, homely care provider.

Care’s Principal Director is: Mr Philip Carey.
Philip initially joined the company in 1996 as “Company
Manager” and was subsequently appointed as a company
director in 1999.
Prior to working for NCL, and since leaving sixth form
college in 1986, Philip was employed as an Accountant
within a medium sized city center firm of Chartered
Accountants, gaining considerable experience and professional
qualifications in both Business Management & Management
Accountancy.

correct type of equipment is always available, correctly
maintained and our staff properly trained in the use
thereof.
Springfield House
Springfield House
was Architect designed, following careful consultation
with the City of Sunderland's Social Services departments,
and the internal layout of the Home specifically designed
to provide easy access to all of our service users,
regardless of their individual mobility.
The home which is all at ground floor level, briefly
comprises of 36 single En-suite bedrooms, (35 of our
bedrooms measuring 15.05 sq.m and 1 specialist room,
19.13 sq.m .Three luxurious lounges and a dining room,
all complete with mini kitchens, where tea, coffee or
light refreshments can be made.
One of the lounges being specifically designated for
those who wish to smoke.
We believe that Springfield House has every facility,
and amenity available to provide for a “
Long Happy and Carefree Life.”*
